TELEVIDEO IN THE GLOBAL VILLAGE.

TELEVIDEO, a small family business that began here in Nerja, in 1993. 

 The company was founded on the coordinated efforts of two professionals, Gerardo, a technical engineer in telecommunications, and myself, Susana, in charge of administration and customer service.  Together we work in harness with other companies in this sector.

 All these years have given us considerable experience in a field which is in constant development and allowed us to work in the European Distribution of Digital Television, for which we are authorized distributors. 

 In addition to this, the companies that distribute electronic material, with whom we work closely, have kept us at the forefront of technological developments at every juncture. 

 The changes to the sector have accelerated considerably since the final decade of the last century.  The audiovisual product selection has broadened.  The format which we were once used to has changed permanently and we now rely on the indispensable support of computers to minimize time and space. 

 TELEVIDEO does not exclude itself from the multimedia market.  For years we have been intent on offering the best internet service possible, and this service is improving daily as we speak.  

 For the moment we are involved in the installation and distribution of Broadband (Axarquía area), and in areas where the network coverage is low, we distribute satellite internet access. 

 The telephone system is no longer a limiting factor when considering the use of internet in more remote areas, and is available at reasonable prices. 

 To give you an overview, this is what we can offer you:

 Digital Satellite Television and terrestrial television for all languages available in Spain.  Each of these options requires very specific equipment installed reliably and professionally. 

 Local and satellite internet access in accordance with the given geographical specifications. 

 The purchase and installation of all mentioned systems, and the required television apparatuses of various brands, designs and measurements, can all be viewed and selected in our premises in Calle Los Huertos.  We have been attending to the public from these offices for the past 15 years which is the best guarantee we can provide.

 Each day customers come to my office with queries, preferences and requirements, looking for advice and assistance.  We talk it over, they tell me what they need, which kind of television they would like to have in their home, and I present them with the options of their specific case, and we come to a mutual agreement as to which contract suits them best.  Then, Gerardo assesses their location, studies the position and conditions of their signal access.  This procedure works for both television and internet installation.    

 Considering that the majority of our clientele comes to us through the recommendation of friends or relatives, we believe that the technical assistance and customer service we provide is the key to our success in the market. 

As far as the recession is concerned, it does affect the demand to some extent.  However, both television and internet have acquired such a central role in everyone's household, that people can no longer go without them on a daily basis, and therefore require more and more service.
